A native of Moses Lake, Washington, Mr. Spizzo received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1979 and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Akron in 1985. Mr. Spizzo was Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Metton America Incorporated, a specialty plastics company, in Atlanta, Georgia from 1995 to 1997. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Spizzo held the position of Director of Corporate Development, Hercules Incorporated. In April 2000, Mr. Spizzo was named Vice President, Investor Relations and Strategic Planning and in March 2001 he was named Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Strategic Planning. In July 2002, Mr. Spizzo was named Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development. He assumed his current position in March 2004. Mr. Spizzo has served as a member on a number of Boards of Directors including 21st Century Containers, the United States Advanced Ceramics Association and Benchmark Energy.
