John N Herring

Jake Herring works with a variety of clients and on issues ranging from health care and technology to education and finance, specifically in the firm’s New York City Government Affairs group. Jake has an extensive background in New York City government. As a staff member in the New York City Council Finance Division, Jake was responsible for the oversight of funding to the city’s cultural institutions and public libraries. In addition, he was the City Council’s lead analyst on public pension law and finance. Jake was also Deputy Director in the Council’s Member Services Division and a Legislative Representative for the United Federation of Teachers’ City Government Affairs practice.
