Mr. Cowan has been a Director since January 2003. He has been the chairman of The Davey Tree Expert Company, an employee-owned company providing horticultural services throughout the United States and Canada, since January 2007, after having served as chairman and chief executive officer of The Davey Tree Expert Company since May 1997. Mr. Cowan also serves as a trustee of the board of trustees of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and served as past chairman of the board of trustees of Kent State University. Mr. Cowan is a member of the Audit Committee. The Company purchases tree maintenance related services from The Davey Tree Expert Company.
