Joy-Ann Reid

Reid Report Editor Joy-Ann (“Joy”) Reid is a political columnist for the Miami Herald and editor of The Reid Report, voted best national blog in the 2010 Florida Netroots Awards. Joy has worked as an Internet news editor for NBC affiliate WTVJ in Miami and hosted a talk radio show for Radio One. In 2004, she served as statewide deputy communications director for America Coming Together, which registered 50,000 voters in Florida, and in 2008, she worked on South Florida urban media outreach for the Barack Obama presidential campaign.
