She has lobbied for corporations, financial institutions, not-for-profit entities and local municipalities. Emily has secured millions of dollars for the renovation of a hospital emergency room, helped negotiate a multi-million dollar energy deals for a major company, worked to have a multi-billion dollar land use project approved – the biggest ever in New York City, and navigated legislation for a prominent New York entertainment company, ultimately guarding their intellectual property rights. Emily was also one of the lead lobbyists instrumental in helping New York become the sixth state to pass a marriage equality law in 2011. Emily has also worked extensively as a political advisor from grassroots to statewide campaigns throughout New York State. Additionally, Emily is often sought after for comment by the New York Times, USA Today and other leading media organizations for her insights on New York politics. Emily holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from The New School in New York City.
