Daniel J. Carroll, Jr. was the CEO of Telcordia Technologies from September 2005 until May 2007. He continues to serve on the Telcordia board. Telcordia is a global provider of telecommunications network software and services for internet protocol, wireline, wireless and cable customers. Mr. Carroll held a number of executive positions with AT&T Corp. until its spin-off of Lucent Technologies Inc. He retired from his employment as an officer of Lucent in 2000. He has been a director of the Company since 1999.
