James Learner

Mr. Learner is a Managing Partner of Huntsman Gay Global Capital. He is also a member of Huntsman Gay's Policy and Investment Committee. Prior to joining Huntsman Gay, Mr. Learner was a partner with the international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. During his 25-year career at K&E, Mr. Learner principally represented private equity funds in connection with their acquisition, divestiture, financing and fund formation activities. Based in London the last 12 years, he was in charge of the firm's European operations and was a member of Kirkland & Ellis' 15-person Firmwide Management Committee. Mr. Learner graduated with an AB(Honors) from the University of Michigan in 1984 and with a JD from Harvard Law School in 1987.
