Gustavo R Schwed

Schwed of Irvington, N.Y., is an adjunct professor of finance at the NYU Stern School of Business. Until 2012, he was a managing director at Providence Equity Partners and a board member of TDC A/S in Denmark, Mobileserv in the U.K., Grupo Torresur in São Paulo, Brazil, and Decision Resources, Inc. in Boston. Schwed has also worked at Morgan Stanley and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Schwed earned a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is married to Lucy Harrington '85.
