Gary W Weismann

Gary W. Weismann is Vice President, Kennametal Inc. and President of Kennametal’s Advanced Materials Solutions Group (AMSG). In this role he has direct responsibility for the oversight of all AMSG operations, representing 40 percent of the company’s global revenues. Mr. Weismann has been with Kennametal for 19 years, during which time he has completed successful assignments in many areas of the company, including international marketing, corporate planning and development, and mergers and acquisitions. He also had general management responsibility for the global Electronics Products Group before accepting his previous assignment as Vice President, General Manager of Energy, Mining & Construction Solutions Group. Before joining Kennametal, Mr. Weismann served as Managing Partner for Marketing Solutions, a private management and development group. He was also Senior Vice President and General Manager, Engineered Products Division at what is now Actuant Corporation. Mr. Weismann holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from the University of Pittsburgh. He, his wife, and his four children reside in Wexford, Pa.
