He was President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and LSHI from December 2001 to June 30, 2004. Mr. Gerkens held various other positions at the Company and LSHI since 1988. Mr. Gerkens is a member of the Board of Directors of each current wholly-owned direct or indirect subsidiary of the Company (collectively the "Subsidiaries").
