Larry S Thomas

Larry S. Thomas serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Landstar. He is responsible for the company's entire information communications systems and technology. He joined Landstar in 1994 as Director of Information Services at one of its subsidiaries. In 2000, Mr. Thomas was named Vice President of Research and Engineering for Landstar System, Inc. The following year he was promoted to Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Landstar, Mr. Thomas served in various positions at IBM, Whirlpool Corporation and Kimbal International. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. He lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, with his wife, Lynn, and their two sons.
