Neil Barsky

Neil Barsky founded Alson Capital Partners, LLC in 2002 and was the Portfolio Manager for all of Alson's investment vehicles before liquidating it in June 2009. Prior to founding Alson Capital, Mr. Barsky was a managing partner and co-founder of Midtown Capital Partners, LLC from 1998-2002. While at Midtown Capital Partners, Mr. Barsky co-managed Midtown's investment partnerships. Between 1993 and 1997, Mr. Barsky was an equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley, specializing in real estate, gaming and lodging. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Barsky an award-winning reporter at the Wall Street Journal from 1988-1993 and continues to contribute articles on occasion. From 1986-1998, he was a reporter for the NY Daily News, and from 1984-1986 he was a reporter for New York City Business. Mr. Barsky earned an MS from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 1984 and a BA from Oberlin College in 1981.
