People's Party of Canada

Created in 2018 by Maxime Bernier after he split from the Conservative Party of Canada. It promises to scrap multiculturalism as policy. The PPC calls Josh Alexander "the bravest teenager in Canada" and says "queer theory is a danger to your children!" The party's platform says "Children are never born in the wrong body. Children should be taught to accept themselves." Promises to criminalize providing trans minors gender affirming medical care, decriminalizing conversion therapy, and "protect women’s spaces – prisons, shelters, bathrooms, and changing rooms – from intrusion by biological men." It would defund LGBTQ organizations and federally funded gender affirming medical care as well as remove gender identity from human rights protections. The group has had several prominent white supremacists/neo-Nazis associated with it, including a neo-Nazi riding director; members of the Yellow Vests, Pegida, and Northern Guard have made donations to the party.
