Defence and Security Institute

Headquartered at Lot 14, South Australia’s high-tech hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, the Institute ensures the university’s capabilities are relevant, readily identifiable and accessible. The DSI stays abreast of the nation’s defence and security research needs, understands and guides the University’s broad defence and security capabilities, informs the development of educational programs for an evolving future workforce, manages and builds defence related partnerships, and works to ensure that administrative processes are appropriate and fit for purpose. The DSI works closely with its key stakeholders to identify and facilitate long term strategic partnerships and transition research into product and practice.
