Human beings are identified by various means all over the world. It may be a passport or an identity card. There are many diseases and issues pertaining to climate change that affect cattle, but it is hard to come up with a global approach because of the lack of a truly global identification system. One of the biggest problems is data security. Our objective is to give the world a solution that whilst informative does not breach the confidentiality of the farmer or their animals. Many farmers in Africa are unbanked and have no proof of ownership of their cattle beyond say so or if they are lucky a brand. Because of this we felt it important to make our digital system enabled to prove ownership, help with animal health issues, provide a payment platform and also to enable food safety with a “conception to consumption” traceability model.
