BLOOMBERG SPACE HAS NOW MOVED Visit the new gallery at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE 12 Walbrook, London, EC4N 8AA In November 2017, Bloomberg opened London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE at its new European Headquarters. Located on the ground floor, Bloomberg SPACE forms part of a new cultural space that showcases the reconstructed Temple of Mithras in its original location, a selection of the remarkable Roman artefacts found during recent excavations, and a series of contemporary art commissions responding to one of the UK’s most significant archaeological sites. London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE builds on the legacy of the previous Bloomberg SPACE at Finsbury Square. Bloomberg SPACE commissioned over 130 new works of art between 2002 and 2017 and engaged employees, clients and the community at large with the work of 486 artists. Bringing together two philanthropic passions of commissioning new works and supporting the programmes of cultural institutions globally, Bloomberg SPACE put collaboration at its centre to provide new opportunities for artists, curators and institutions and complemented Bloomberg’s ongoing programme of innovative arts sponsorship throughout Europe and the world.
