PROMOTION OF TECHNOLOGY Collaboration with partner organisations, companies and industry bodies to promote the benefits and advantages of blockchain technologies. EDUCATION Raising awareness of blockchain and its potential impact through education for beginner and expert alike. SOCIETY CONTRIBUTION Contributing to development of younger generation via partnerships with charities which promote similar values in education, social wellbeing and development. ABOUT US The London Blockchain Foundation (LBCF) is a member-led organisation by professionals for professionals, created to establish a trusted platform in the industries with potential blockchain impact or disruption and to set a globally-recognized mark of high standards in the understanding, adoption and application of blockchain and the value it can bring to various aspects of life and business. Our members span across different industries and on various levels connected to blockchain, including running start ups, developing applications and consulting amongst others. We stand for diversity, cooperation and critical thinking applied to blockchain. DECENTRALIZED GOVERNANCE Wherever possible via blockchain technology and strategies in partnership and active engagement with members. OUR TEAM The LBCF was established by 70 Founder Members in 2018. Reflecting the decentralized spirit of blockchain, five directors to oversee and manage the Foundation were appointed by the Founder Members through the elections held on a designated voting platform. Our members are at the heart of LBCF and are encouraged to take an active role. We have a growing network of Ambassadors who also champion the Foundation’s activities.
