Grains Council of Australia

Was the peak body of the Australian grains industry until it closed in 2010.

It supported research and development and was committed to promoting the uptake of technologies and practices to enhance environmental sustainability, benefit the economic interests of Australian Grain Growers and lead to the enrichment of Regional Australia. The Grains Council was officially wound up on 30 June 2010. Grain Producers Australia (GPA) now represents Australia's broadacre, grain, pulse and oilseed producers at the national level.
