Educating All Students For Success The Board of Trustees establishes the policies by which schools operate. In carrying out the task of setting policy, the board identifies needs and establishes priorities for the school system, allocates financial and human resources among the priority areas, and evaluates school performance. District Accolades Dallas ISD earned a B from TEA for the second year in a row. The district improved overall by five points, from 81-86. That’s a significant increase. There’s still plenty of work to do, but the district is moving in the right direction. Three Dallas ISD schools were selected as 2019 National Blue Ribbon Schools: Jack Lowe Sr. Elementary School, Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet at the Yvonne A.
