Specifically, we are working to decrease the dropout rate by 10% and increase the youth empolyment rate by 10%. We believe we can achieve this by cutting the number of Opportunity Youth in Santa Clara County in half by 2025. The OYP will work towards this vision using a collective impact approach that engages a robust, multi-sector collaborative that brings together the community-based organizations, government systems, and employers to build reliable, repeatable, and transparent pathways to and through post-secondary education/training.
