Welcome to the site of the Center for Evolutionary Economics (CEE) General information: The CEE was created after the Russia’s first international symposium on evolutionary economics (September 12-15, 1994, Pushchino Scientific Centre in Moscow region). Among founders of the CEE were wellknown Russian economists – academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Leonid Ivanovich Abalkin, Vladimir Ivanovich Maevsky, and Valery Leonidovich Makarov, representing leading research institutions: the Institute of Economics and the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The CEE is engaged in research on fundamental problems of the evolutionary theory, including the issues of economic dynamics, institutional and structural changes, and reproduction of fixed capital. Since 1994 CEE has been organizing biennial Pushchinskiy symposia on evolutionary economics at Pushchino Research Centre (Moscow region).
