About the Center for Research Computing The Center for Research Computing at University of Notre Dame is an innovative and multidisciplinary research environment that supports collaboration to facilitate discoveries in science and engineering, the arts, humanities and social sciences, through advanced computation, data analysis and other digital research tools. The Center enhances the University’s cyberinfrastructure, provides support for interdisciplinary research and education, and conducts computational research. The CRC is comprised of three complementary groups: High Performance Computing (HPC), Cyberinfrastructure (CI) Development and Research Software Development. The HPC group supports the growth and excellence of Notre Dame research endeavors via efficient operation and promotion of the University's research computing infrastructure. The CI group empowers faculty and industry partners to develop research environments that support advanced data, information and visualization services. The Research Development group cultivates better, more sustainable software to enable world-class research. The CRC is a part of Notre Dame Research.
