Founded in 2000, the Oracle Education Foundation has always aimed to advance technological fluency and inclusion. The way we deliver on that goal has gone through three major evolutions: first, we made hardware grants; then we provided ThinkQuest; and currently we provide a program that teaches technology and design thinking, which we’ve been developing and refining since 2014.
Technology and Design Thinking
Since 2014, the Foundation has provided a set of classes in which students learn coding, electrical engineering, and user-centered design from real practitioners, and then apply their skills and knowledge to prototyping solutions. We offer a variety of 30-hour classes at Levels 1-3 and internships at Level 4.
