Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Pay for Success Financing Posted on October 12, 2015 Please join us for a Capital for Communities event exploring Pay for Success Financing on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia. Hosted by the Community Development Studies & Education Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the conference will provide participants with a solid understanding of pay for success financing/social impact bonds (SIBs) and will create opportunities to discuss different perspectives about the purpose, appropriate uses, challenges, and risks of this financial tool. Participants will hear insights from national experts on pay for success financing and explore case studies of existing projects. Stakeholders from the nonprofit, public, and private sectors will explore opportunities for working together to use this financial tool to support social innovation that will benefit the communities they serve. Speakers will include Mayor Michael Nutter, City of Philadelphia; David Wilkinson, Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation; and Patrick Harker, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
