US Foodservice

US Foodservice, formerly a division of Royal Ahold of the Netherlands, is the second largest foodservice distributor in the United States. The company distributes both national brand products and its own private label items, ranging from meats to frozen foods. Private equity firms Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice acquired US Foodservice for $7.1 billion in 2007. Corporate headquarters are in Columbia, Maryland.
