Friends of Magic

The "Friends of Magic" initiative, launched in 2013 by NBA legend Magic Johnson in partnership with Chicago rapper Common, founder of the Common Ground Foundation. The Friends of Magic focuses on helping at-risk students and high school dropouts graduate, particularly in Chicago. This program is an extension of his broader philanthropic efforts, which include the Magic Johnson Foundation founded in 1991 to support urban communities.
