New York State Commission on Government Integrity

The New York State Commission on Government Integrity was created by Executive Order of Governor Mario Cuomo at the recommendation by another panel, the State-City Commission on Integrity in Government. The New York State Commission on Government Integrity was created under the authority of the Moreland Act, and the panel was charged with making "recommendations for improving laws relating to the prevention of corruption, favoritism, undue influence and abuse of official position in government," according to reflections of John Feerick, chair of the New York State Commission on Government Integrity.
