Silicon Valley Bank, a California lender, was taken over by federal regulators on Friday March 10 2023 after its depositors rushed to pull their money out of the bank. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation seized the bank and The F.D.I.C. and the Federal Reserve later said all depositors of both banks would be made whole.
