Daniel DiLella is the chairman and CEO of Equus Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm currently headquartered in downtown Philadelphia (although they'll soon be moving their headquarters to Newton Square). Equus' real estate portfolio includes "office, retail, and industrial properties and nearly 10,000 apartment units across 42 multi-family communities located throughout the United States."
Last October, about a month before the presidential election, DiLella contributed the maximum amount of $5,000 to Trump's transition fundraising committee.
DiLella is well-known amongst Philadelphia's power brokers--he is currently or has been a board member of numerous influential Philadelphia area organizations, including the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation, the Barnes Foundation, and the Philadelphia Police Foundation. He is also a past President of the Union League of Philadelphia, an elite members-only club where many of Philly's most powerful network and congregate.
