Deborah M. Fretz is president and CEO of Sunoco Logistics, which is a publicly traded master limited partnership founded in 2001 to acquire, own, and operate crude oil and refined products pipelines, terminals, and storage facilities. Before assuming her current position in 2001, she was senior vice president, mid-continent region, Sunoco, Inc. From January 1997 to November 2000, she was senior vice president of the lubricants business at Sunoco, Inc. Fretz is also a director of GATX Corporation, a Chicago-based transportation company; Project H.O.M.E.; and the Foundation Board of the Free Library of Philadelphia. She is also on the board of trustees of the Curtis Music Institute. Fretz has a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Butler University and an MBA from Temple University.
