Cindy Segawa

[Conservative] Cindy Segawa is Lomita’s Mayor and a former LAUSD educator, bringing decades of public service and community involvement to local government.

Cindy Segawa was elected to the Lomita City Council in November 2018 and currently serves as Mayor, with active roles on the City’s Finance Committee and multiple ad hoc committees focused on economic development, infrastructure, civic events, and water policy. She retired after 24 years with the Los Angeles Unified School District, most recently serving at President Avenue Elementary School in Harbor City. A Lomita resident for more than 40 years, Segawa and her husband Chris have raised five children and are grandparents to sixteen grandchildren, grounding her public service in deep personal and community ties.
