Marc E Manly

Marc Manly is group executive and chief legal officer for Duke Energy. He leads the office of general counsel, which includes internal audit, ethics and compliance and the corporate secretary. He was named to his current position in April 2006. Manly earned a juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, and a master of economics degree from the University of Michigan, where he was a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif. He also earned a bachelor of arts degree, summa cum laude, in economics from Amherst College, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.
