Raleigh Rescue Mission

Raleigh Rescue Mission began when local businessmen Charlie Morton and T.W. McDaniel began inviting the homeless to their revival meeting. Those who attended lacked the basics they needed to survive. The two founding visionaries rallied community leaders and others to fill the gap in services they had discovered. Since officially opening the Mission’s doors in 1961, nearly 1 million men, women and children have passed through our doors!
