Jennifer Razor

JENNIFER RAZOR is an associate with the Healthcare group, focusing primarily on health care legislative and regulatory matters. She represents pharmaceutical and biological manufacturers, medical device interests, professional societies, health care trade associations and coalitions and others in legislative, regulatory, and strategic matters relating to health care coverage and reimbursement. Ms. Razor combines broad legislative skills and experience with the knowledge of a health care regulatory professional. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Razor lobbied Congress on behalf of two large medical specialty societies - the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She developed and implemented the associations’ legislative agendas on a myriad of issues. Ms. Razor also provided legislative counsel and represented the associations before several federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Department of Justice. While completing her LL.M. in Health Care Law, Ms. Razor served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and advised the Chicago regional office on health care policy issues. She served as a judicial extern in the chambers of the Honorable Patti B. Saris during law school. Ms. Razor is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association Health Law Section, and Women in Government Relations.
