Dwight Fettig

Mr. Fettig has worked for more than 20 years in senior staff positions on the Hill and in private industry.  At Freddie Mac (2003-2008) he was responsible for developing and implementing the company's lobbying strategy for Senate Democrats, representing the company's interests on the Hill and preparing senior management for legislative hearings, briefings and meetings with members of Congress.  Prior to that, he served as legislative director for Sen. Tim Johnson (1996-2003) and also served as legislative director for Mr. Johnson when he was a member of the House of Representatives (1995-1996).  Mr. Fettig has experience in working with many legislative issues, focusing on financial services, housing, appropriations and budget, with additional background in healthcare, taxes, telecommunications and energy issues.
