Mr. Louis R. Chenevert serves as a Senior Advisor at Goldman Sachs Group, Merchant Banking Division. Mr. Chenevert target opportunities in the aerospace and industrials sectors and advise other businesses. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of United Technologies Corporation, a holding company of Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation from April 9, 2008 to November 23, 2014. Mr. Chenevert served as the Chief Operating Officer of United Technologies Corporation from March 8, 2006 to April 9, 2008 and served as its President from March 8, 2006 to December 2009. He served as the President of Pratt & Whitney Company, Inc., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation from April 1999 to March 8, 2006. He served as an Executive Vice President of United Technologies Corporation since 1998 and also served as its Executive Vice President of operations and oversaw Aftermarket Services, Operations and Purchasing since 1997. He joined UTC in 1993 at Pratt & Whitney Canada, where he served as Vice President, Operations from 1993 to 1996. Mr. Chenevert spent 14 years at General Motors and served as Production General Manager of General Motors' St. Therese operation. He serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board at Yale Cancer Center. He served as the Chairman of United Technologies Corporation from January 1, 2010 to November 2014. He is a Founding Director of the Friends of HEC Montreal. He has been an Independent Director of Cargill, Incorporated since June 2011. He served as a Director of United Technologies Corporation from April 2006 to November 23, 2014. He is a Co-Chair for the Smilow Cancer Hospital Capital Campaign Committee. He is vice chairman of the Business Council, and a member of the U.S.--India CEO Forum and the Business Roundtable. He serves on the Board of overseers for the Bushnell Theater. He also serves on the board of directors for the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. He received the 1997 Harrington Medal from the Quebec Quality Movement and was chosen as a Nouveaux Performant in 1995 as one of Quebec's outstanding young leaders. In May 2005, he was inducted as a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Mr. Chenevert holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in production management from the Universite de Montreal, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commericales.
