About the Innovation Fund
Announced in 2017, selected Innovation Fund jurisdictions expand the Challenge’s reach into new states and deepen its work across the country. The sites are diverse in their sizes, geography, and focus areas:

The Innovation Fund jurisdictions receive funding and expert technical assistance, and also have access to the resources, peer learning opportunities, and expertise of the growing network of jurisdictions advancing local justice reform through the Challenge. The Urban Institute provides technical assistance to the sites and documents and disseminates lessons learned from the Innovation Fund’s work. |
