John G McMillian

John Guy McMillian passed away January 27, in his home in Park City, Utah. He was born on July 11, 1926 in Orange, Texas to John Guy McMillian Sr. and Annie Laurie Bond McMillian. After serving his country for three years he returned and entered The University of Texas and in 1951 received a BS in Petroleum Engineering. He headed numerous companies, including Northwest Energy, Apco Oil, Chaparral Resources, and Allegheny and Western, just to name a few. He served on boards including Columbia Pictures, the US Ski Team, Energy Ventures, and Sun Trust. He was a long time resident of Park City Utah, but lived and traveled around the world. He leaves the love of his life, wife Anna Marie, sons Johnny and wife Sharon, Hayden and wife Rebecca, Mike and wife Jan, Todd and wife Linda, daughter Laura and husband Kevin, grandchildren John Douglas, Caroline, Hayden Jr, Matthew, Mason and Christina, as well as countless friends. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Mikey McMillian.
