Gabrielle Sulzberger, a general partner and investment manager of the private equity fund Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners LP, serves on the Ford Foundation Board of Trustees. Previously, she served as chief financial officer of Crown Services, based in San Jose, California, and as a managing partner of BE/Greenwich Street Capital in New York. She serves on the board of directors of Whole Foods Market, Brixmor Property Group, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, and, on behalf of Rustic Canyon, the board of Initiative Foods. She has also served on the boards of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Stage Stores, the Boston Children’s Museum, the Entrepreneurial Growth and Investment Institute, and The Boston Partnership. A member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Sulzberger was a 1997 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Princeton University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
