Tony D. Vaughn, 51, was elected senior vice president, Gulf Division, in 2005. From 2003 to 2005, Vaughn served as Devon’s vice president, Planning and Evaluation. Vaughn joined Devon in 1997, serving in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. Prior to Devon, Vaughn spent 12 years with Kerr-McGee Corp., last serving as manager of the Rocky Mountain District. Before joining Kerr-McGee, Vaughn worked as an operations engineer for Amoco Production Co. Vaughn is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and serves on the board of directors for the Offshore Energy Center and the Resource Partnership to Secure Energy for America. Vaughn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Oral Roberts University.
