Lorrie Bartlett is a partner and co-head of the talent department at talent and literary agency ICM Partners. Her clients include Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton (Birdman, The Founder), two-time Emmy Award winners Regina King (American Crime) and Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad, Sully), and Emmy Award nominee Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), among others. She was the first African-American partner at a major talent agency and has been named one of “The 100 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment” by The Hollywood Reporter. Bartlett joined ICM in 2008 as a senior motion picture talent agent. Previously, she worked at The Gersh Agency. She is a graduate of Occidental College. ICM Partners, Inc. (International Creative Management) represents film and television actors and directors, as well as artists in theatre, music, publishing and new media. It has offices in Los Angeles, New York and London. ICM was formed in 1975 by the merger of Creative Management Associates and The International Famous Agency. Private equity firm Traverse Rizvi Management and Merrill Lynch hold controlling stakes in the agency. ICM has estimated annual sales of $36.54 million with 727 employees. Bartlett is a ReFrame Ambassador through a partnership between Women in Film and Sundance Institute. This program, launched in early 2017, serves as a formal action plan to further gender parity in the media industry. ReFrame Ambassadors will personally lead catalyzing meetings with their peers, other Hollywood top executives at studios, networks, agencies and independent financing entities. Bartlett also served as a mentor for The Hollywood Reporter’s Mentorship Program, which pairs young women from tough backgrounds with women who are decision makers and influencers. Bartlett has supported the Motion Picture and Television Fund, as well as March of Dimes. She resides in Los Angeles.
