Until February 2008 Marc Lapidus was the Campaign Director for the DSCC and he brings to Red Horse more than two decades of experience. Marc managed Bill Mulrow's campaign for State Comptroller in 2002, was Hillary Clinton's Deputy Campaign Manager in 2000 and Peter Vallone's Deputy Campaign Manager in 1998.
Marc was the Executive Director of New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness from 2003-2005, leading a coalition of hundreds of advocacy groups. He was the senior political advisor to the State Democratic Party in 2001 and served in City Hall under Mayor David N. Dinkins. He was the Director of External Affairs for Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer and has worked with numerous labor organizations including the AFL-CIO, CSEA, AFSCME and SEIU-1199. |
