Michael Annes is senior vice president, business development and ventures, for Motorola Solutions. He is responsible for directing mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well as the company’s global venture strategy. Annes joined Motorola in 2003. Prior to his current position, he was lead counsel for the integrated supply chain and oversaw environment, health and safety. He also served as vice president, law, for Motorola’s former Integrated Electronic Systems Sector.
Prior to joining Motorola, Annes was vice president, general counsel and secretary of Pliant Corporation. Before that, he was vice president of business development at The Quaker Oats Company. He began his career at the law firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt, focusing on corporate transactions.
Annes earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois and a law degree from The University of Chicago. |
