GreenLight Locker Registration Guide
Texas College Bridge Summer Session
6-29-2020
GreenLight will support tablets, laptops or desktops for accessing GreenLight with following
caveats:
Small form factor tablets (less than 8in width) must be used in landscape mode for the best
experience
Laptop/Desktop Operating System versions:
MacOS 10.13 and higher
Windows 7 and up
Browser versions:
Below are the step-by-step instructions for students to register on GreenLightLocker.com for the
Texas College Bridge
If you already have an account on GreenLightLocker.com from another educational institution such as
Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD), please skip to Step No. 5
1) Using one of our supported devices and browsers, navigate to
https://GreenLightLocker.com/texascollegebridge
2) At the bottom of this page, you will see the form for students to register.
Start typing the name of your high school or district and select the name that matches. As you start
typing the name, GreenLight will give you suggestions, pick the one that matches your high school or
school district.
Enter your student ID, date of birth and Last Name in the appropriate fields. Click on the “Verify”
button. If everything matches, you will be presented with the registration form shown below Once you
click verify, if everything matches, you will be presented with the rest of the form to fill out.
Enter your mobile phone number: Note: Please do not erase the “+1” in the mobile number
field. If you erase it accidentally, please type your mobile number with a “+1” in the front. Eg.
+1 9725551212
Enter your email address and confirm it again. We recommend you use a personal email
address that is not shared with another person.
Select a username that you will remember. A good way is to use a combination of your first and
last name or some other value that you will remember.
Finally, select a 12 digit password with 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 numeric and 1 special
character such as ! or $ or #
Check the box next to “I agree to the GreenLight terms of use”
Then click on “Sign up”
3) You will receive an email to activate your account
4) Please click on the link in the activation email. Your account is now active.
5) Now login to your GreenLight locker by clicking on the login link in the activation box or by
visiting
https://GreenLightLocker.com and enter your username and password
6) If a video comes up, skip it and then you will be presented with the screen for signing the FERPA
Waiver
Sign inside the box that says “Sign here” by drawing with your mouse. Then click on the “Save”
button
7) Click on the “Course Catalog” button
8) You will see a list of courses you are eligible to take
9) Click on the “Enroll Now” button and you will be taken to the EdReady platform to start your
course.
10) Select “Go to Goal” to start a course. Click on “Start diagnostic” to start your self assessment
for a course.
Note: If you get logged out or timed out of EdReady, please log back into GreenLightLocker.com
and click on the launch icon next to the course in “My Courses” tab.
11) Once you start a course, that course will appear in the “My Courses” tab.
12) Once you complete all the requirements for your course, you will automatically get a certificate
in your locker. Please allow a few days after completion to see your certificate in the locker.
Please note that the certificate will not appear in your locker until you have met all the
requirements in EdReady. To view your certificate, click on the “view” icon
If your certificate is ready, you will see it as below:
To Share your certificate with a college or university, please click the “Share” icon
Troubleshooting
1) If you get an error on the registration form as shown below, please check that the date of birth
you entered matches your school record. Also make sure that you have entered your Student ID
correctly. Finally, check that the last name you entered matches the school record. If your
name has a space or a hyphen on the school record, please enter it exactly as it appears on your
school record.
2) If you do not receive the activation email because you mistyped the email address or you no
longer have access to the email address, please go back to the registration page at
https://GreenLightLocker.com/texascollegebridge
Type the name of your high school or district, your Student ID, date of birth and last name. The
click on “Verify”. You will get the option to have your activation email re-sent or to update your
registration. If you need to change the email you used, then select the option to update the
registration
3) If you get logged out of EdReady, go back to https://GreenLightLocker.com, login to your
dashboard and then go to “My Courses”. You can now access EdReady again by clicking on the
course you want to continue
4) If you forget your username or password, click on “Forgot Password/Username” on the login
screen
Enter your user name and your registered email address. You will receive a temporary password.
If you forgot your username, click on “Forgot Username”
Enter your registered email address and your username will be emailed to you
