Notes The Laboratory for the Science of Individuality at the Harvard Graduate School of Education is focused on developing new insights about human individuality and leveraging these findings to address longstanding issues in education and society. To accomplish this work we conduct original research and collaborate with other laboratories within and outside of Harvard, as well as leading think tanks and nonprofit organizations. For an introduction to the Science of Individuality see our paper in the Journal of Mind, Brain, and Education or read the book The End of Average. To see how these ideas can be applied to education read the Harvard Ed Magazine article Beyond Average or The Faulty Foundations of American Colleges in the Chronicle of Higher Education.
