Medley Global Advisors is a high end information business serving the investing elite. Founded by Richard Medley, George Soros' former chief political strategist, MGA advises the world's largest investors about what government officials are thinking that could affect their investments.
After being hired to head business operations, I was promoted to Senior Managing Director in August of 2000. In that capacity, I worked with our CFO to turnaround the company (which had hit a rough patch) and transform the small boutique into a growing, scaleable business. After completing the turnaround and putting the company on a strong growth trajectory, my focus turned towards, in parallel, preparing to sell the business, and managing the Medley Institute (our philanthropic arm).
