Eugene finished his tour in 1946 with the rank of Second Mate, Lt. Jr. Grade USNR. Upon leaving the service he joined the family business, THC Systems, Inc., a distributor of domestic chinaware, flatware, glassware and sundries to restaurant and hotel chains. Eugene as CEO, in 1969 changed the company's direction and became the first company of its kind to import hotel ware for the use in the airline industry. Together with his brother Robert they transformed THC Systems into a differentiated multinational firm that served leading companies in the foodservice, restaurant, airline and hospitality industries, among others. |
