Edcor was founded in 1981 to serve as an outsourced administrator of corporate education benefits and programs. In 1990 Edcor was acquired by The Fisher Group, a holding company owned by Max M. Fisher’s immediate family, and Phillip William Fisher served as the Chairman of Edcor. His role was vital to Edcor for many years and he instilled the Fishers’ values of outward focus, strategic innovation, and dynamic leadership into the management team.
In 2010, Edcor became a woman-owned company. Adrienne L. Way, the President and CEO of Edcor, purchased Edcor from The Fisher Group after 10 years of working for the company. Throughout her career with Edcor Adrienne has been an outstanding leader. She has a passion for excellence and Client satisfaction, and focuses on solutions-based practices. |
