Stephen Obermayer

Mr. Obermayer’s responsibilities include financial oversight of all corporate resources; strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management; administration of payroll and benefits; and development of financial policies and procedures. Mr. Obermayer joined BBL in 1993 and brings over 30 years of experience in financial operations to the BBL team. During Mr. Obermayer’s career at BBL, he has developed the company’s current financial policies and procedures. He also established and leads BBL Hospitality, the hotel and restaurant division that oversees BBL’s hospitality portfolio. Mr. Obermayer holds an M.S. Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany and a B.B.A, cum laude from Siena College. He is also a New York State Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Bank Auditor (first recipient of the highest grade award on the exam nationally). He serves on several boards, including Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber, Living Resources, and Center for Economic Growth, St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, Capital District YMCA; and serves as the Director for Ballston Spa National Bank.
