Frank J. Semcer, Sr., is Chairman/CEO of The Micro Stamping Corporation (MICRO), a global conglomerate headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey, with divisions in Singapore, Korea, and Florida. Semcer began his career as product development engineer for Allied Chemical before joining MICRO as Vice President in 1969. In 1977, Semcer purchased MICRO. Under his leadership the company has grown into an international organization with four divisions dedicated to the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. In 2010, Semcer was honored by Stevens Institute of Technology with the Stevens Award for Innovation and Leadership. He is a member of the NJ Tooling and Machining Association, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and the American Society of Quality Control. At Stevens, he has served as a trustee, an executive committee member, and as chairman of the Quality Oversight Committee. He has also served as an advisory board member for Artistic Identification Systems and director of NJM Insurance Group. Semcer holds a B.E. from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Seton Hall University.
